Job Description
The University of Vermont Health Network is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pre-Op unit. As a key member of our 22-bay prep unit, you will provide care to a diverse patient population with various conditions, including both inpatients and outpatients. Being a level 1 trauma center, we cater to patients across all service lines requiring surgical interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assist patients before surgery.
- Assess patient conditions and ensure they are ready for procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver quality care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Vermont.
- Prior experience in pre-operative care is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
