Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network. As a Pre-Op nurse in our 22-bay prep unit, you will play a vital role in supporting patients before their surgical procedures. Our facility serves a diverse patient population, including both inpatient and outpatient cases, across various medical conditions. Being part of a level 1 trauma center, you will contribute to the care and preparation of patients across all service lines.
Responsibilities
- Treat and assist patients in the pre-operative process.
- Care for patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
- Valid RN license.
- Experience in pre-operative care is a plus.
