Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network team. As an essential member of our nursing and multidisciplinary teams, you will provide professional nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing plan of care. This role involves delivering direct patient care, providing instruction, and facilitating continuing care during and after transitions. Ideal candidates will possess at least one year of experience and be eager to contribute to our patient-focused environment.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. External candidates must be willing to obtain their BSN as per offer letter terms.
• Pediatric Infusion and chemo certification are desirable.
• Proficiency in central line access/care, peripheral IV placement, and chemotherapy, or willingness to acquire these skills.
