Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As an RN, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating care for post-procedural extended recovery and/or observational care patients in the Cardiac Vascular Care Unit. Utilizing the nursing process, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes, providing guidance in delivering nursing care, patient education, and maintaining professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate care for post-procedural extended recovery and/or observational care patients.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Guide the delivery of nursing care and patient education.
• Maintain professional standards of care and collaborate with other disciplines as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
• BLS or ACLS required with ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated flexibility, willingness to learn, and ability to prioritize responsibilities.
• Completion of Cardiac Rhythm and Critical Care courses within specified time frames.
