Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Field Nurse position in Home Care. Join our team at ChristianaCare and be part of a supportive environment that values your expertise in providing skilled nursing care to geriatric patients in the community.
Responsibilities
- Administer skilled nursing care and treatments to geriatric patients in a home care setting.
- Develop and implement patient-centered care plans with a focus on goal-oriented outcomes.
- Ensure IV proficiency and provide IV treatments as needed.
- Create discharge plans for patients based on individual needs and available resources.
Requirements
- BSN required; ADN candidates must obtain BSN within three years of employment.
- Current DE RN license or compact state license.
- Minimum 2 years of recent HomeHealth RN experience.
- Prior experience in Home Healthcare and Med-Surgical settings preferred.
- Willingness to train for and perform IV functions.
Job Types
- Permanent, Full-time, Part-time.
Pay
$32.00 - $44.00 per hour.
Work Schedule
- Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week.
- Rotating weekends and on-call shifts.
- Day shift with one weekend and two holidays per month.
