Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Sales Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
• Offer feedback to management regarding products and store operations
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
• Follow cash handling procedures to minimize losses
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while upholding security standards

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and other equipment
• Capable of general cleaning duties and following company policies
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Compliance with state and local regulations for handling alcohol

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
