Sales Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Sales Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and ensure merchandise presentation.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
• Communicate clearly with team members and management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues.
• Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling procedures.
• Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring data security.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of following cleaning standards and company policies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
