Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is looking for a Senior Director, Pharmacometrics to lead the design, analysis, and reporting of pharmacometrics programs. This strategic role involves overseeing programs supporting both small and large molecule compounds in oncology from discovery to post-marketing phases.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, review, and execution of pharmacometrics-related drug development plans.
  • Apply model-informed drug development principles to drive decision-making processes.
  • Manage priorities effectively and seek solutions for conflicting tasks.
  • Build and develop a high-performing pharmacometrics team with a focus on talent retention.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and maintain the highest scientific standards.
  • Represent Jazz Pharmaceuticals as a subject matter expert in interactions with regulatory agencies.
  • Participate in evaluating potential in-licensing candidates.

Requirements

  • PhD in pharmaceutical sciences or related field with 12+ years of industry experience.
  • Strong track record of successful regulatory interactions, NDAs/BLAs, and in-licensing deals.
  • Proficiency in quantitative analyses and pharmacometrics software.
  • Experience in managing global regulatory requirements and collaborations with external partners.
  • Ability to think strategically, solve problems, and lead in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to Jazz Pharmaceuticals' core values.
  • Experience in oncology is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $220,000 to $330,000. In addition to base pay, eligible candidates may receive annual bonuses, equity grants, and various benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, retirement plans, and flexible vacation options.
