Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's overall appearance. Your exceptional customer service skills and collaborative approach will contribute to enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash policies, procedures, and company guidelines diligently.
• Adhere to security and confidentiality protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
