Job Description

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store. Your dedication to providing excellent customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team will be critical in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy, participate in store inventory counts, and adhere to cash handling policies.
  • Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and various equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Capability to work independently and in a team environment with attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • High school diploma preferred, along with prior retail experience.
