Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Store Operations Assistant to join the Aldi team. As a valuable member of the store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills guidelines.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
• Conduct inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and security measures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register.
• Safely operate equipment such as hand jacks and scrubbers.
• Interpret and apply company policies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
