Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join the Aldi team. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure an exceptional customer shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
  • Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling procedures.
  • Follow company policies to ensure security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization according to company standards.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and work well in a team setting.
  • Ability to handle and sell alcoholic beverages per state regulations.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
