Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's operations, including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. You will work collaboratively with the Aldi team to deliver exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with the store management team.
• Conduct inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy according to guidelines.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses and comply with company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
• Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment is a plus.
