Job Description

As a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's operations. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the cleanliness of the store. By working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will enhance the overall customer shopping experience through exceptional customer service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with the management team.
  • Offer feedback on products, manage inventory counts, and adhere to cash policies.
  • Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring the security and confidentiality of data.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older to apply.
  • Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
  • Ability to provide courteous customer service and maintain store cleanliness.
  • Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work well within a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous.
