Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and orderly to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills while performing assigned duties.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and ensure merchandise displays are organized.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers and collaborating effectively with team members and management.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy, adhere to cash handling procedures, and comply with company policies.
  • Contribute to store inventory counts and provide feedback on product quality and store operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
  • Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
  • High School Diploma preferred, with previous retail experience being a plus.
