We are hiring a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your role will be crucial in enhancing the customer shopping experience through exceptional service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Assist customers with purchases, maintain cleanliness, and stock shelves
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and customer experiences
  • Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling procedures
  • Follow company policies and procedures to ensure store security and confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
  • Proficiency in operating cash registers and store equipment
  • Capable of performing general cleaning duties and following company standards
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Prior retail experience (preferred)
