Job Description

As a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi, you will play a key role in ensuring the store runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to deliver an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Conduct inventory checks and ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
  • Comply with all company guidelines to safeguard data and documents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and friendly customer service.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and other store equipment.
  • Capability to maintain a clean store environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
