Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure our store provides an exceptional shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling procedures and company policies.
- Maintain security and confidentiality of store documents and data.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
- Proficient in providing courteous customer service.
- Capable of operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Able to meet physical demands of the job.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Prior retail experience is preferred.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience in a retail environment is advantageous.
