Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join Aldi's team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's smooth operation by merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean environment. Your focus on exceptional customer service and collaboration with the ALDI team will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
• Follow company procedures and maintain document security

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Excellent customer service and cash handling skills
• Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
