Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store's smooth operations, including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in store inventory management and adhere to cash policies
- Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring document security and confidentiality
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Proficient in cashier operations and equipment handling
- Ability to perform general cleaning duties and follow company policies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience is a plus
