Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a key member, you will be responsible for various in-store tasks such as merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional customer experience. This full-time position offers 32-40 hours per week at a starting wage of $16.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping journey
• Collaborate efficiently with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Participate in store inventory counting and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and all company procedures
• Perform general cleaning duties according to company standards

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Prior retail experience preferred
