Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join Aldi's team. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support customers during their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
  • Adhere to company policies, ensure document security, and uphold confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
  • Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
  • Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Work well independently and in a team.
  • Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail work experience is a plus.
