Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store, you will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure it always looks its best.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory accuracy and providing valuable feedback.
  • Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
  • Comply with company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
  • Experience in retail or similar environment is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities.
