Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 for employment
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Capability to handle and operate equipment responsibly
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
