Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly by handling tasks such as merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the team will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide top-notch customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Follow cash policies, company procedures, and uphold security measures
• Perform general cleaning duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Efficient cash register operation skills
• Ability to operate equipment safely
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• High school diploma preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
