Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an excellent customer shopping experience. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the store.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer purchases and maintain cleanliness in the store.
  • Stock shelves and merchandise displays accurately and neatly.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Monitor and report on inventory levels and participate in store inventory counts.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Follow company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
  • Capability to maintain store cleanliness to company standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
  • Compliance with state and local regulations for handling alcoholic beverages.
  • Prior retail experience is preferred.
