Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, assisting customers, and maintaining the overall store appearance. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service, aid customers during their shopping journey.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts, ensuring accuracy per guidelines.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures for minimized losses.
• Follow company policies, uphold data security, and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to work at ALDI.
• Ability to deliver prompt, courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Proficiently perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of working independently and within a team environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, efficient multitasker.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
