Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
  • Communicate clearly with team members and store management
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues
  • Participate in inventory counts and monitor accuracy
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
  • Follow established policies while maintaining document security

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Proficient in cash register operation
  • Ability to operate store equipment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Prior retail experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
