Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through merchandising, stocking product, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Collaboration with the ALDI team and providing exceptional customer service are key components of this role.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Perform cashier duties, general cleaning tasks, and ensure neat merchandise displays
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional customer service
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any relevant issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies and procedures
• Adhere to company policies ensuring security and confidentiality
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Efficient cash register operation
• Ability to operate store equipment safely and efficiently
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Strong communication skills
• Work well independently and in a team setting
• Detail-oriented and able to multi-task
• Meet necessary requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
