Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team and play a key role in maintaining the store's operations. As a Store Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and organized to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
  • Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining security and confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
  • Experience in retail environment preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
