Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a vital part of the store's operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. Your focus on exceptional customer service and collaboration will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and support a positive shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
