Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, upkeep general cleaning duties, and neatly stock shelves and merchandise displays.
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional service.
• Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues encountered.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Follow all company policies and procedures to maintain document security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient and accurate cash register operation.
• Safely operate equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Work well independently and as part of a team.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
