Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandise stocking, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. Your role is vital in enhancing the overall customer shopping experience by collaborating with the ALDI team and providing exceptional customer service.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, maintain merchandise displays, and provide top-notch customer service.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and operate a cash register efficiently.
• Safely operate equipment such as a hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
