Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, handle general cleaning tasks, and maintain well-organized shelves and displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in regular inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses.
• Follow company policies, uphold document security, and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to perform cleaning tasks per company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, multitasking ability.
• Meet requirements for handling/selling alcoholic beverages per state and local regulations.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
