Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers. Your role will involve collaboration with the Aldi team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive store environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily tasks in accordance with company guidelines, including customer purchases, cleaning, and stock management.
- Offer exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers and addressing their needs effectively.
- Communicate clearly with team members and provide feedback to store management on various operational aspects.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and inventory management.
- Execute store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently as required.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and basic store equipment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
