Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and comply with company procedures.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
  • Follow company policies, maintain cleanliness, and uphold security procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Meet state and local requirements related to alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
