Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, clean, and provides exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a tidy store environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets and competencies outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store premises, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with the team and management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to enhance store performance.
• Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies.
• Adhere to company policies, ensure document security, and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform various physical tasks including stocking, lifting items up to 45 pounds, and general cleaning.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills.
• Proficient in operating cash registers and store equipment.
• Ability to follow company procedures and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• High School Diploma preferred; retail experience is a plus.
