Job Description

As a Store Operations Assistant at ALDI, you will play a critical role in maintaining store operations and delivering exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, stock management, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will enhance the overall shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
  • Communicate effectively with team members and store management
  • Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
  • Adhere to cash handling procedures and company policies

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
  • Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment
  • Capability to adhere to cleaning standards and company policies
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
