Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Team Member, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your exceptional customer service skills and collaborative spirit will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support a positive shopping environment
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Assist in inventory management and ensure accuracy
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
  • Follow company procedures and uphold data security and confidentiality
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Prompt and courteous customer service skills
  • Efficient operation of a cash register
  • Ability to use equipment and perform cleaning tasks
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous retail experience is a plus
