Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join ALDI's team. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team, you will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory management and monitoring
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Follow company policies and maintain security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18
• Proficiency in customer service and cash handling
• Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication skills
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior retail experience is a plus
