Store Team Member

Job Description

We are hiring Store Team Members to join our dedicated team at ALDI. As a member of our store staff, you will play a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's values and competencies in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize product displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and overall store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies.
• Follow company procedures ensuring security and confidentiality.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of meeting physical demands and company standards for cleanliness.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible to work independently or in a team setting.
• Adherence to state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience will be considered.
