Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. Your exceptional customer service and collaboration with the ALDI team will elevate the shopping experience for our customers.

Starting Wage

$18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, perform general cleaning tasks, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory accuracy, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and maintain security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Physical Demands

Ability to stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform general cleaning tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Efficient cash register operation and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate store equipment and adhere to cleaning standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Capability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in retail is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience is considered.
