Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your focus on providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the team will ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

• $18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and neatly arrange merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
• Participate in store inventory counts and uphold cash policies and procedures
• Adhere to company policies, ensure document security, and handle data confidentially
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment
• Perform general cleaning tasks and follow company policies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team or independently
• Stay organized, pay attention to detail, follow instructions, and multitask effectively
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Prior retail experience (preferred)
