Store Team Member

Job Description

Join our team at ALDI as a Store Team Member! In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to keep the store running smoothly and providing exceptional service to our customers. From merchandising and stocking products to cashiering and maintaining cleanliness, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the best shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visits
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies
• Follow company procedures and uphold security and confidentiality standards
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Capacity to handle general cleaning duties to company standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in retail settings desired
• Blend of education and experience equivalent to job requirements
