Store Team Member

Job Description

We are hiring Store Team Members to join our ALDI family. As a Store Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring our store operates efficiently and that customers have a pleasant shopping experience. From merchandising and cashiering to providing exceptional customer service, you will be an integral part of our team.

Responsibilities

• Consistently demonstrate the required Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Offer feedback on products, manage inventory counts, and uphold cash policies and procedures
• Comply with company policies and procedures while safeguarding data security and confidentiality
• Perform general cleaning duties and adhere to physical demands of the role

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Capable of working independently and in a team environment
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
