Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, stocking merchandise, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the required Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with the store management team.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies, maintain document security, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties according to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
