Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Surgical Technologist specializing in Labor and Delivery procedures to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a member of our healthcare family, you will play a vital role in supporting surgical care and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide age-appropriate care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Assist the surgical team in executing the surgical care plan.
- Demonstrate expertise in sterile technique, surgical procedures, anatomy and physiology, surgical instruments and equipment, and anesthetic agent usage.
- Prepare operating rooms for scheduled procedures according to physician preferences.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Must hold an accredited Surgical Technologist Certification or commit to obtaining it within the first six months of employment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Labor and Delivery Surgical Technologist.
