Responsibilities
- Demonstrate expertise in providing age-appropriate care.
- Assist the surgical team in executing the surgical care plan.
- Knowledgeable in sterile technique, surgical procedures, anatomy, equipment use, and anesthetic agents.
- Prepare the operating room for assigned cases based on physician preferences.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Must have an accredited Surgical Technologist Certification or be eligible to obtain it within six months of employment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Active BLS certification.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a Labor and Delivery Surgical Technologist.
