Job Description
We are looking for a Travel Nurse RN specializing in Med Surg to join our team at Tact Staff in Brownsville, Texas. This is a travel nursing position starting as soon as possible for a duration of 13 weeks with a workload of 36 hours per week in 12-hour shifts. As part of the Med Surg unit, you will work with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a dynamic environment.
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 32
- Number of Staff: 40
- Patient Ratios: 6-7 patients per nurse
- Equipment: PCA pumps, IV pumps
- EMR: Meditech
Skills & Experience
Must have Med-Surg experience and a minimum of 2 years recent hospital experience. Preferred skills include surgical experience and proficiency in Meditech.
Dress Code & Guidelines
Scrub color is Royal Blue, no outside jackets allowed. Unit is recognized for outstanding performance with over 500 days free of CAUTIs, CLABSIs, and Pressure ulcers.
