Job Description
Genesis Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Unit Manager - RN to join our nursing center management team. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality and cost-effective healthcare delivery on your assigned nursing unit, while achieving positive clinical outcomes and ensuring patient, family, and employee satisfaction. You will play a key role in maintaining nursing coverage, developing patient care strategies, mentoring staff, overseeing medication management, and providing direct patient care.
Position Highlights
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure safe nursing care.
- Participate in developing strategies to achieve patient goals and minimize rehospitalizations.
- Mentor and educate nurses, work with medical professionals, and serve as a resource to staff.
- Oversee medication management to ensure compliance with policies.
- Provide direct patient care to maintain skills.

Requirements
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with RN licensure. Minimum nursing experience based on degree attained. Nurse leadership experience required. Current BLS/CPR certification required.
